I just wanted to take some time at the end of this sacred day to share how humbled I am by the love of God. I was reading earlier this week about Jesus being the Lamb of God, and how He was a spotless lamb, a worthy sacrifice, and how He was innocent of any sin. I am so humbled today because I am not spotless, worthy, or innocent, and I needed Jesus to take my place. Praise God for taking me "while I was still a sinner" and cleaning me up, covering my guilt and shame with His blood, and extending His worthiness to me. It's an incredible gift, an extravagant love, and I'm so thankful and grateful.
